Docs We Love :: I RISE - ANDRA DAY

A couple of months ago I had the pleasure of spending the day in sunny Malibu, California with director Yoruba Richen shooting this documentary on Grammy-nominated, singer-songwriter Andra Day

It was so refreshing to be in the presence of someone sharing a story so honest and relatable to make me question why we feed fears and choose to keep our inner roadblocks intact.

F that...It's time to RISE UP!

"I Rise" will be screening at the UrbanWorld Film Festival in NYC on Sept 24. If you're in NYC, please go see it on the big screen.
