FILMS WE LOVE :: KICKS by Justin Tipping
Brandon is a 15 year old whose dream is a pair of fresh Air Jordans. Soon after he gets his hands on them, they're stolen by a local hood, causing Brandon and his two friends go on a dangerous mission through Oakland to retrieve them.
After seeing a bunch of music videos by what quickly became a favorite director, AG Rojas- I began to see a pattern of amazing visuals set alongside Rojas's signature style of storytelling. After doing a little research I found out Rojas's Director of Photography is Michael Ragen.
Then after following both of them on all the social channels, I found out Justin Tipping's new film KICKS is shot by, you guessed it, Michael Ragen. It's out in theaters now and we're all looking forward to checking this one out. Congrats on getting a theatrical run with this one, looks sick!
