Well, I think we just found our next little obsession in the gear department from the good folks at DJI, who have recently unveiled their latest creation, The Mavic Personal Flying Camera.
As I was watching their demo video, I could almost feel the money jumping out of my pocket while getting shot from above.

Docs We Love :: 13th | Ava Duvernay
The title of Ava DuVernay’s extraordinary and galvanizing documentary 13TH refers to the 13th Amendment to the Constitution, which reads “Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States.”
Director and activist, Ava Duvernay explores mass incarceration and the deliberate mythology of black criminality since the abolition of slavery in the 13th Amendment. We recognize the need for prison reform in this country given the disproportionate imprisonment of people of color and the billions in profit in this modern-day slave industry so perhaps this should be required viewing.
The 13th will be the first doc open the NY Film Festival and will debut on Netflix on October 7, 2016. We’re also looking forward to seeing the cinematography work of our good friend and colleague, Kira Kelly! Check out the trailer & share your thoughts.
